A record-breaking 3,000 people responded to our Reader Survey this year. Thank you to all who responded!

The results are being analyzed now but one thing really popped out to us.

Over 50% of you were not aware of our Solo Traveler Insiders membership program. Yet, this program is fundamental to our ability to continue publishing Solo Traveler.

For over 10 years we've been:

delivering travel tips and skill development for solo travelers.
advocating on behalf of solo travelers, convincing more and more companies to waive the single supplement.
writing about our trips to inform and inspire readers.
cultivating an international community of solo travelers through our Solo Travel Society and working with readers to help shape and share their stories for publication.

It's been free. The content on the blog, our ongoing research and advocacy to find companies that will treat solo travelers fairly, the Solo Travel Awards that we launched to encourage more companies to do the same, and daily moderation and development of our Facebook group which now boasts over a quarter of a million members: it's all been 100% free.

The Solo Traveler Insiders uses Patreon and works like any subscription service. You sign up and you'll be billed on the first of every month. There are three options that offer different perks.

Tip Jar – $5 per month which includes an Insider story every month.
Solo Traveler Insider – $10 per month which includes all Insider benefits such as our Speaker Series, private Facebook group, the monthly Insider story and more.
Insider VIP – $25 per month gives you all of the above plus two hour-long sessions with Janice or Tracey in a year.
