On a personal note... If you're a member of our Facebook community and follow the Solo Travel Society page, you will have
noticed that something has been amiss since late August. Our page was hacked and Janice and I were locked out of our own account. We still cannot even view the page. We continue to work with Facebook to reclaim ownership, but frankly, it has been (and continues to be) a shockingly ridiculous, frustrating, circuitous process. In six weeks, the only progress that has been made is to lock out the hacker so they can no longer post on our page, and to recover access to Janice's personal account. I
will make a large and very visible announcement as soon as I get my hands back on the page, and we will continue sharing tips, advice, and solo travel inspiration as we have been doing for the last 15 years. Thanks for your patience. Send me strength! And if you happen to work for Facebook or know someone who does, any and all assistance would be most welcome. Tracey
