The Prize

From the rapids of the Río Sarapiquí to the tropical forests of Tirimbina, from the mountains of Alajuela to the sun-drenched Pacific Coast, Costa Rica beckons us with countless wonders, all summed up by a popular saying among Costa Ricans: pura vida—this is the life.

•   14 days exploring Costa Rica, including San José, Sarapiquí, La Fortuna, Guanacaste, Pacific Coast with Overseas Adventure Travel
•   All land transportation
•   Accommodations for 13 nights
•   32 meals—13 breakfasts, 10 lunches, 9 dinners (including 1 Home-Hosted Lunch)

Terms & Conditions

•   Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
•   The contest closes at 11:59 pm ET on June 7th, 2022.
•   The winning entry will be awarded the land-only trip from Overseas Adventure Travel, with a choice of dates in 2022 and 2023.
•   Winner will be chosen by random draw of those who have joined the Solo Traveler Insiders membership program.
•   Winner will be notified by email and given 72 hours to respond. If no response is received, additional names will be drawn until a winner has been determined.

You'll be responsible for:

• transportation to departure city and return home
•   program enhancements/optional excursions
•   personal expenses
•   travel health insurance
•   pre- & post-trip hotel accommodation, if required or desired

Expenses, costs, charges, and fees not specified as being part of the Prize and anything else that is not a standard inclusion in the tour are not included in the prize.

Proof of identity, age, and address, possession of a valid passport as well as adherence to all requirements of Overseas Adventure Travel and the destination relating to vaccination, masking, etc. will be required.

By accepting this prize, the winner accepts full and complete responsibility for their own safety and welfare at all times, including familiarizing themselves with and arranging for passport, visa, and any other travel requirements.

The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be given.
