Here's what's new and notable at Solo Traveler this month.
What a session we had on Wednesday evening with Nora Dunn, who you may know as The Professional Hobo! She regaled us with stories of her 7,000-mile trip circumnavigating the United States by train. People had LOTS of questions and Nora answered every
one - and offered lots of additional tips and advice! She also gave away a copy of her book, Tales of Trains: Where the Journey Is the Destination, and as an added surprise, everyone who attended received a free gift!
There was so much interest in train travel that we've made it the topic of our January 26th Meetup, where we will share stories about our greatest train journeys and some of the amazing things that happened along the way.
In February, we're looking forward to chatting with Mariellen Ward of the award-winning travel blog, Breathedreamgo and custom travel company, India for Beginners.
A Canadian living in Rishikesh, she'll share stories about her journeys as a solo traveler, living through the pandemic in India, and lots more.
Don't miss another speaker, exclusive post, meetup, discount, product review, gift, or perk! Give yourself the gift of membership.
Take good care,
Tracey
